Thank you for being a part of The Roast of Sherwood’s story…

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of The Roast of Sherwood. Incorporated in 2009, our journey has been filled with delicious hog roast sandwiches served from our street food stalls and the joy of catering for countless amazing events over the years.

This difficult decision comes as our founder, Paul Galloway, has decided to call it a day due to poor health, coupled with the challenging trading conditions we currently face.
We want to extend our deepest gratitude to our incredible staff, partners, and volunteers who have poured their dedication and passion into The Roast of Sherwood, shaping our company into what it was.
A massive thank you also goes out to all our wonderful clients and customers, from those who enjoyed our offerings at our former street food stalls, to everyone who entrusted us to cater for their special occasions. Your support has meant the world to us.
While this chapter is closing, we will always cherish the memories and successes we’ve shared.

Sides

Pigs in Blankets Delicious pigs in blankets to complete your traditional Christmas spread.

Sweet Carrots and Earthy Parsnips Tossed in olive oil, seasoned with salt, pepper, and a hint of rosemary. (V), (GF)

Mac and Cheese This baked mac and cheese is a family favourite recipe, loved by all. It uses a combination of cheeses, layered in the dish as well as melted into a rich and creamy cheese sauce, for the ultimate in cheesy deliciousness! (V)

Stuffed Sweet Peppers Stuffed with or without mozzarella*, basil, spinach and italian style rice. These stuffed peppers make a filling vegetarian alternative main. (V), *(Vg) 

Moving Mountains, (Plant-based burger) Is a plant-based burger that is designed to look, cook, and satisfy like beef. It has all the juicy, meaty deliciousness of a traditional burger, but comes with the upsides of a plant-based meal.(V), (Vg)

British Beef Brisket Using grain fed British Beef, we hand cure & season with Deli Spices; our salt beef is like no other. (GF)

Roast Boneless Leg of Lamb Marinated with Rosemary, Thyme, and Garlic. This elegant and mouthwatering dishes are a sure hit. The result is tender, juicy and flavourful. (GF)

Succulent Roast Gammon Cured and smoked to perfection, this succulent gammon is served with a traditional honey-glazed pineapple.
